Maximus. My new love. After that night over a month ago, we started talking every day at school and eventually fell in love. I asked him to be my boyfriend and he happily accepted. Yay! My first boyfriend!
"Sure, sounds fun" I replied, smiling. I loved hanging out with him. Though i couldn't shake the feeling something was missing. I kept eyeing one boy from school. Bob Newbie. He was handsome and funny. I always heard how the other kids laughed at his jokes. He was also the school jock. I wish i could get my hands on him.
I had never been at his house before, so i was amazed at how big it was. There were crop fields and a barn. The main house lay behind a small lake and they had an old windmill! I couldn't believe my eyes! This was paradise!
"I love it!"
Then he said: "I can't believe you are my girlfriend. How did I ever deserve such a gorgous woman as yourself?". I blushed, and at the same time felt guilty for having those thoughts about the other guy. I didn't know what to say so i grabbed a pillow from the bed we were standing at and smacked him in the head. He tumbled backwards, a bit shocked, but then grinned as he also grabbed a pillow and soon we were having the time of our lives.

"Do you think i can sleep over at your place?" I asked, trying to sound like i didn't really need this as bad as i really did. I had slept outside in my sleeping back for over a month now. I had stolen baths and toilet times at the gym, and for food i had picked trees and bushes for fruits and veggies. Not exactly the ideal meal for a girl who still needed to grow. I hadn't told anybody about this though. They all thought i lived at the boarding school.
"Sure. My parents aren't home tonight so you can sleep in their bed."
"Okay, cool." I was relieved, but i hoped it didn't show. For once i was gonna get a good night sleep and some nice food.

"Can you believe it? It has been 6 months and we are still together!" Today was Max's and mine 6 months anniversary. We were planning on going to a movie and then drop by at the diner on our way to his place. His parents were out for the night so we wanted to curl up at the fireplace with hot cocco and marshmallows.
"I know," he looked at me with love in his eyes, his mouth curling into a smile.
We hadn't actually.. done it, yet. I said i wanted to wait until i was at least 18. Which was around 2½ years away. In the beginning he had pushed me a little about it, but i was stubborn. He couldn't force me into anything.
Diiiiing!
"Oh darn it. I have math now." I said exasperated. I hated math. It was my worst subject, and my marks showed it. On my last test i got a D-.
"At least school is done in two hours and then it will just be me and you," he said, sounding so sweet.
We both went into our seperate classrooms.

"Is that her?" "Apparently she's slept with half the school." My now ex-boyfriend Maximus, had spread nasty lies about me all over school. Said i had slept with other guys while we were still together, and that that was why we broke up. In reality, i found out he had been sleeping with his best friend, Lydia Pearl, but of course, he didn't want to lose face, so he made up a bunch of lies and told everyone. They were all staring and pointing at me, except one person who was now my only friend, Bob Newbie. The guy i had been drooling over when i was with Max, even though i of course never acted on it.
"Hey Alyca," he said as i joined him on the bench in the school yard.
"Hey Bob. How was english?"
"Good. I got an A- for my essay about the different kinds of American Cultures."
"Wow! congratulatins!"
"Thanks," he said, smiling. "Actually, i wanted to ask you something. Can we talk in private?"
I looked around. "Bob, we're all alone," I pointed out.
"Oh, right. Well, here it goes. I know that you broke up with that Max kid only a month ago, but i was wondering if you wanted to go see a movie with me sometime? As a date, that is."
Wow, i was flattered, but hmm.. was it too soon? I had wanted this for so long, so maybe, why not go with it?
"Sure, i would love to," i said, sounding a bit too eager. I blushed, as he chuckled.
"Sounds good. I'll pick you up at five."
"Oh, well actually can't we just meet up at the movies? I have an errand in town anyway." I blushed yet again. I still hadn't told anyone, not even my best friend Bob, about my runaway and me not having steady place to live.
"Okay of course."
"Can't wait."

"Awesome movie! Best time ever!"
We had just exited the cinema, where we had watched Avatar. It was "Old movie night", so we had picked one none of us had watched before.
"I'm glad you liked it," he sent me a shy smile and blushed. "I have something for you, by the way." And from behind his back he pulled out a bouquet of yellow flowers.
And then we kissed. And it was magical. It was the best first kiss i had ever had, with real butterflies in my tummy.
"Alyca, i have admired you for so long, wanted to be with you for just as long. Will you be my girlfriend?" He looked so hopeful, I couldn't turn him down, and i didn't want to either.
"Yes, yes of course i will."
And then, i had my second boyfriend.
Great update! Sorry that things didn't work out between Alyca and Maximus but am happy that she and Bob got together and look forward to seeing how things go from here.
