We had finally decided that instead of buying a new house, we would have someone build one for us.
Bob's dad, Robert, had passed on, so Mags asked us kindly if we wanted to stay with her while the builders did their job. We accepted and soon her house was full of life.
We stayed for 5 months. Then one morning the interior design people called us up and told us they were all done with designing our new home. Also our money had run out. The build and designing had all cost a whooping 103.283 simoleons!
We had almost no money left for when the babies would come. So now was the time to really get to work. Bob worked extra hard on his job, granting him another promotion and a raise.
In all there were 5 bathrooms (some of them empty due to no more money) 3 fully decorated bedrooms, and 4 empty rooms, and a basement that was meant for nectar making. When we got more money we would decorate the rest of the house.
As we stepped into our new home, we were amazed by it all. It was magnificent, so we didn't mind anymore that we basically had no money. Mags had provided us with food so we could last for a while, which we were very grateful for.
The next 3 months passed pretty quickly. We settled into our new home soon after it was ready and fell into a routine once again, with work, school and daycare for our youngest son.
Then, one morning my water broke. It was an immense pain like i had not experienced with the other two. It felt like a bulldozer were hitting my lower parts.
We hurried to the hospital, where after 16 hours i had given birth to triplets! Two girls and one boy. We named them Camille, Rie and James. (Rie is pronounced "Ree-eh").
Even though in the first place i didn't really want any more children because it was so painful birthing them, they were truly the apples of our eyes.
We had to stay a couple of days at the hospital because they were born a week too early. Though this was very normal when having triplets, and even when having twins, they were very small babies and needed to be looked after by hospital personnel to make sure that everything was okay.
After a week we were allowed to bring them home.
Mags had taken some time off work to look after our two boys while we were at the hospital. They loved having their grandma around.
I'm not going to lie. It is a tough job having triplets. Especially when you already with two children. Now we had five children and every day it was all about feeding, burping the babies and changing diapers. The time i had left when it was done, was spend making dinner, cleaning up after the others, and then it started all over. I had long before given up on my dream of becoming a rock star. I couldn't see how it would at all be possible with five children to take care of. Bob wanted to help, but i told him it was important that he stayed focused on his job, as he was now our sole income. I was thinking of quitting my job to become a full-time parent. I just needed the courage. It was a hard thing to do, since it meant giving up my dream.
Having more children and spending so much time with them also made me realize i was much more family oriented than i originally thought of myself. The rebellious side of me was long gone, so i didn't want to pay any more attention to that.
We started out by placing all three babies in the same bedroom, since it was easier changing between them when their needs needed to be cared of. The room was on the same floor as our bedroom.
